A Bit About Me
Living in the scenic town of Killarney, Co. Kerry, Ireland, you’ll find me—often walking through the national park, earbuds in, and my favourite podcasts on loop. When I’m not leisurely strolling, I’m pushing for a new personal best on a run, fuelled by my go-to playlists. Nature isn’t just scenery for me; it’s my inspiration. Its beauty sparks my creativity, even when I’m away from my computer.
Traveling and live concerts are my other passions. I relish the thrill of seeing my favourite artists perform, sometimes even catching them abroad. There’s something magical about the buzz of live concerts, the anticipation, and the unforgettable memories that come from these experiences. Live entertainment is a wellspring of creative ideas for me, feeding my artistic soul.
Balancing these energetic hobbies, I also enjoy the peace of reading and crocheting. These activities provide a peaceful retreat from screens, where I can immerse myself in a good book or create cosy blankets and flowers for loved ones. It’s my way of recharging while indulging in the simple joys of life.
My Design Approach
I’m a creative designer with an eye for graphic design, brand design, visual communications, and print finishing. I love diving into complex briefs, unravelling client needs, and crafting designs that hit the mark every time. My work spans brand design and implementation, graphic design, editorial, signage, stationery suites, and booklet design. I also specialisese in print finishings like hot foiling and emboss/deboss setups. These skills ensure I deliver high-quality, impactful designs that blend creativity with strategic thinking.
Working full-time in the design/print industry, I’ve learned the critical link between design and marketing. To enhance my skills, I took night courses in digital media design and digital marketing, earning distinctions and a Google Analytics certification. Juggling these courses with my job taught me the power of dedication and perseverance. I’m eager to apply this knowledge and continue pushing boundaries in the digital world.
Understanding a project inside and out is vital. This means diving deep into the brief, listening, questioning, and creating. I collaborate closely with clients from start to finish, ensuring you’re involved throughout the creative process. Every detail matters because that’s what drives inspiration and delivers the best results.
